Fashion Show 2021: “Behind the Mask”

This year, due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to hold our annual Fashion Show. Instead, Textile students in their individual grade cohorts took the show outside to West 26th Avenue to showcase the creations that they have been working on this year.

Please enjoy this video showcasing all our Textiles students’ designs. We hope to welcome you back to the Gail Ruddy Foyer next spring, with a catwalk, cameras, lights and all!

Starlight Fashion Show

The textiles department once again put on a fabulous fashion show where our students’ designs, creativity, and textile savvy were showcased brilliantly! The Gail Ruddy Foyer was transformed into a catwalk, complete with lighting and runway seating. Our textiles students had the chance to showcase their talents by sharing their collections with a live audience. Designs included pyjamas, athletic wear, dresses, and even costumes for superheroes!

What an extraordinary event with a great turnout from our community. A special thank you goes out to Ms. Tanya Mallette for her outstanding guidance and support of our students in the textile program. As well, thank you to all students, faculty, and staff who participated in the planning and coordination of this very successful night. Click here to see the full photo gallery.
