A Recording-Breaking Day of Giving

Thank you to our generous community that came together on this year’s Day of Giving, May 26 to help raise a record-breaking $521,583 in just one day to support the Annual Giving campaign. We would not have been able to accomplish this without our dedicated Annual Giving campaign co-chairs Shannon Chung and Phoenix Shih, many parent volunteers, and our Advancement Committee members.

Our goal every year is about total family participation. This year we introduced a “grade challenge” where a past parent generously donated $25,000 for the first five grades that reached 100% participation. Each grade that achieved 100% participation would result in an additional contribution of $5,000 being directed to the Little School, Junior School, or Senior School (depending on the grade that reached 100%).

We are proud to announce that five grades have reached 100% participation thanks to the generosity of York House families. You have truly displayed your commitment to enhancing our students’ learning experiences and what our community is capable of when we all come together to help create future possibilities for all students.

This year we also launched our inaugural “Fitness on the Field”. Despite the unpredictable weather, we saw over 40 families join us as our Annual Giving campaign co-chair, Shannon Chung, and fellow parent volunteers Emily Schach and Marlene Burrows led us through a dance cardio fitness to some classic tunes. Many students also joined in on the arts and crafts and mini-carnival as parents embraced the opportunity to mingle with one another in person for the first time since 2019.

Thank you once again for your generosity and contribution to our “Future Possibilities” Annual Giving campaign!

Every Family. Every Year.
