In January 2021 all students in the Senior School were invited to participate in this year’s Cat’s Meow by submitting a video of themselves reciting a piece of literature of their choice. Students from Grade 8 to Grade 12 have filmed themselves sharing their own work, and the work of authors who have inspired them, and have been brave enough to share these out with our YHS community. Our YHS English teachers have worked with our students to polish their writing and their performances. We hope you enjoy! Bianca, Gr. 10 is Poetry in Voice National Semi-Finalist
We are immensely proud of Bianca, Grade 10, who is one of 24 national semi-finalists for this year’s Poetry in Voice competition.
Bianca was selected to represent York House at this competition as she was awarded “Top Overall Recitation” at our 16th Annual Recitation Grand Finale (“Cat’s Meow).
