The Grade 6 girls created a reading club this year with a new twist!
Everyone would read the novel before the release of the upcoming movie.
Then a few friends would meet up after school to see the movie
together.
We enjoyed Divergent by Veronica Roth in first term. In second term we devoured The Diary of Anne Frank and went to the
Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre to view the Anne Frank exhibit.
For our final event we read the sad story The Fault in Our Stars. We
needed a whole box of Kleenex for the movie! An after party was held
in the Junior School Library. Moms and Daughters enjoyed dinner
together followed by a lively discussion.
