Clubs Day in the Gail Ruddy Foyer, October 1, 2014.

Senior students had a chance to sign up for clubs on Wednesday during the lunch hour. There are 25 clubs on offer this year and there is something for everyone! Clubs are organized by students, and require a teacher sponsor. Of course, students are reminded to consider their current course load, as well as athletics, service and other extra-curricular activities before committing to a club.

Thanks to all who made it out last night to watch the Sr. Volleyball team play St. Pats (they won 3-0). The girls are playing Jr. Boys (yes, boys!) in a tournament on Sunday, and then a match vs. STM on Monday. Don’t miss the final regular season home game of the season on Wednesday, vs. Carver.

The girls also had a good result at their recent tournament in Nanaimo. They finished the first day 4-0, and lost in a very close final to Timberline on the second day. Dayna and Laura were named 2nd team All-Stars, and Siobhan and Kaleigh were named 1st team All-Stars. Overall it was a great team effort and a respectable 2nd place finish versus a AAA #2 seeded team.
