York Rose Ball: Thank You

On behalf of the York Rose Ball Committee, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the attendees, event sponsors and to the York House Community at large. Your participation in the event was crucial in helping raise funds to support school scholarships which provide students with the gift of a York House education. The live and silent auctions were an outstanding success made possible by both the generous donations from our community and those taking part in the live bidding. We will share the amount raised in the coming weeks once we have finalized the numbers, so stay tuned!

Make a Donation to support Cafeteria Upgrades at YHS
The school is planning improvements and refurbishments to make the cafeteria more inviting by installing new furnishings and replacing kitchen equipment. It’s not too late to support this important appeal. If you wish to make a one-time contribution—please contact Olivia Cook in the Advancement Office at 604.730.2415 / [email protected]. Donations of all sizes are appreciated and thank you for your support!

The annual Business in Vancouver 40 under 40 business leaders awards has been released and two York House graduates feature on the list. Congratulations to Natasha (Hudda) Jeshani, Class of 2001 and Anna Baird, Class of 2003.

Both Natasha and Anna have engaged with our alums over the past number of years. Anna gave a Linkedin workshop at YHS to alums and parents back in 2017 and has also mentored recent grads. We interviewed Anna Baird ‘03 about her career path and alumnae mentorship experience back in 2018. Click here to read more. Anna’s career has taken her back to Vancouver where she is living with her partner and two children. She is now Head of Culture and iInnovation, Customer Experience with Google Cloud.

Natasha (Hudda) Jeshani ‘01 is the founder and CEO of Career Contacts and was interviewed back in 2019 about mentorship and her journey as a small business owner. Please click here to read more.
