Grade 7s Learn Outdoor Skills at Camp Stillwood

To wrap up the school year, the Grade 7s spent three days at Camp Stillwood, overlooking Cultus Lake. This camp takes place in June as the culminating activity before graduation from the Junior School. The girls tried their hand at outdoor activities such as high ropes, archery, hiking, canoeing, wilderness survival as well as some improvisation games — all which will serve them well in the Senior School.

Allison, Gr. 7, Wins BC Provincial Speech Arts Competition

Allison, Gr. 7: Provincial Speech Arts Champion

Allison, Grade 7,  was the winner of the 2015 B.C Provincial Speech Arts Competition held in Powell River in May. She qualified for the Provincial Competition having previously won the Kiwanis Speech Arts Festival (Junior Section) and was sent as their delegate to the BC Performing Arts Provincial Competition. There, she prevailed against tough competitors from all around the Province. Well done Allison!
