York Visit YHS

In 2008, the Junior School raised funds for four different charities by holding a Read-a-Thon.

One of the organizations that benefited was PADS, a society that raises and trains dogs for people who are facing challenges of life with a physical disability or who are deaf or hard of hearing.

With York House’s support, PADS placed “York” at the New Horizons, a senior’s care facility in Campbell River.

Let it Snow!

Last Wednesday our field was transformed into a winter wonderland. The girls made the most out of our second major snowfall of the season as several snowmen popped up in what looked like snow communities:

The girls tried their best to make it last (even giving one snowman an umbrella), but eventually the rain chased the snow away:
