York House got in to the Halloween spirit with some wicked costumes! Take a look at the photo slideshow by clicking on the image to the right.
The Gr. 3-7’s also had a pumpkin carving competition with 177 participants! Special thanks to the judges….it was certainly not an easy task!
Our tutoring program with KidSafe at Queen Alexandra Elementary School started on September 27 and is going strong.
Fifteen Grade 11 and Grade 12 students travel to QAE, located at East Broadway and Clarke, every Tuesday after school. To greet them, are a group of Grade 6’s and 7’s who were selected by their teachers to participate in this KidSafe-YHS partnership, now in its second year.
York House students are doing a fantastic job helping students with their homework and taking the time to listen, explain and assist in any way they can.
