Senior Tigers Update: February 28, 2019

JUNIOR TIGERS at JUNIOR BCs
This week (February 27, 28 and March 1, 2), the Junior Tigers are competing at the BC Championships in Langley. Tournament information is here. You can follow the tournament online and even watched games being streamed live.

SKI & SNOWBOARD TEAM at the BCs
This weekend, our Tigers skiers and snowboarders head to Smithers, BC for the BC Championships. Good luck!

SPRING SPORTS
Despite the cold temperatures and snow still on the ground, Soccer, Ultimate, Track & Field, and Badminton get started next week. The spring athletic season is very busy. We have several official school sports where our girls compete in high school leagues and compete to qualify for BCs. We also offer some other sports for opportunities as well such as Tennis, Spring League Basketball, and Water Polo.

Junior Tigers Update: February 21, 2019

GRADE 5 BASKETBALL
The Grade 5 Basketball team is off to the ISEA Playday on Tuesday, February 26 at Mulgrave School. We have take our 35 Athletes and divided them in to three teams. It is safe to say everyone will play a lot of basketball. Games start at 9:00 am and the day wraps up around 2:30 pm. Best of luck to the team.

GRADE 6 BASKETBALL
On Wednesday, February 20 the team participated in the ISEA Basketball Playday. They girls were put on one of two teams, and each team played three games. The games were exciting and several were closely contested. A big thank you to our students for their tremendous effort, and to our coaches Ms. Abbott and Ms. Garcia for their time and expertise. Way to go Tigers!

GRADE 7 BASKETBALL
The Grade 7 Basketball will participate in their respective ISEA Tournaments on Friday, February 22nd. The ‘A’ team is playing at Collingwood. They are currently ranked in the middle of the pack, and they are looking to put their excellent progress in to action and pull off an upset somewhere during the day. The ‘B’ team is playing at Meadowridge School, and will be in tough in the early rounds. The girls have worked hard and looked good at practice this week. Best of luck to our Tigers!

GRADES 3- 7 SWIMMING
ISEA CHAMPIONS! Our Swim Team wrapped up a very successful season bringing home the ISEA Championship trophy on Tuesday, February 19th. The girls were pumped and the coaches were super proud of everyone’s efforts. Congratulations to the entire team!
