The 8th annual YHS Junior Girls Chess Tournament was held on Sunday, February 26. Congratulations to the following junior chess players:

Section A – Grade 5/6

• 1st place: Veronica, Gr. 4

Section C – Grade  1/2

We had a great time playing chess and also raised $360 for cancer research! Congratulations girls. Special thank you to Christine Addison for organizing this wonderful event for junior chess players.
