Would like to learn more about a community organization, volunteer your time, connect with fellow students? Sign-up for the last Service Saturday of the year on April 27!

Here’s a brief description of the organizations we will be working with on this day.

Salvation Army, Belkin House

– prepare and service lunch to patrons of Salvation Army

YWCA, Munroe House

– run a 1 hour music class for toddlers and their Mothers

Dress for Success

– sort clothes and clean facility

The Food Bank

– sort donated food items

On Thursday, January 24, York House students Jemimah, Allison and Myriam joined their buddies from Admiral Seymour Elementary and Saints for a morning of skating and lunch at the Art Gallery.

In its 2nd year, Each One Teach One is a mentorship program in which mentors from Saint Georges and York House School are partnered with a buddy from Admiral Seymour Elementary.

Next month the students will be meeting at Saints for a morning of swimming and lunch. For more information on this program and other service initiatives, please contact Ms. Stanger.
