In October, our Textiles 8 students and Ms. Allester’s P.E. students (beginner sewers) made lavendar eye masks to use in our yoga classes. Thank you girls – what a pleasant way to relax! The project involved using dried lavender (courtesy of Ms. Allester) with plain uncooked rice.
The Sr. Fashion Show is an exciting event for our Textiles students. Students in Gr. 8-12 have the chance to showcase the garments that they have been working on all year. This year the the fashion show was held in the Gail Ruddy Foyer, with a runway built specially for it. The show also included a performance from Ragazza, our Sr. Vocal Jazz group.
