It has been a big week in Tigers news.
In basketball, the Gr. 8s beat St. Pat’s and LFA this week to finish 1st in league with a perfect 7-0 record and the Jr. Tigers also beat St. Pat’s and LFA this week to finish 2nd in league with a 6-1 record.
The Sr. Tigers hosted the 26th St. Tournament this weekend. We had teams from Prince George, Penticton, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, South Surrey, Courtney, and Victoria (11 of the 12 teams in the tournament are ranked in the top 15 teams in the province). Our Tigers were missing a couple of key players and finished 6. Our Maddy was a tournament All Star and Ashna and Emma were named tigers of the tourney. This year’s Lower Mainland zone may be better and deeper than it has been in 20+ years.
In the upcoming week, we have Senior’s Night on Tuesday, February 11. It may be the final Sr. home game of the year, a playoff gm vs St. Pat’s @5:15pm. Our very talented Seniors will be honoured after the game (Emma, Ashna, Maddy, Natasha).
