On Friday, the Senior School recognized International Women’s Day by participating in the Walk in Her Shoes Challenge. Students & staff wore orange civvies and walked a route near the school, with donations going to Care Canada.
According to Care Canada, 70% of the world’s poorest people are women and girls. The walk represented 8000 steps that women from developing countries have to walk to access food, water and health care for their family. See the photos from the walk below.
