The 2015 BC High School Cross-Country Championships was a true test. Saturday, November 7th had the worst possible weather conditions. The races started at 10am and 11:30am at Jericho Beach Park, in the middle of what is one of the worst rain storms of 2015.
Jr. BC Championship Race
Emily, Gr. 9, placed 14th overall in a race of 200 runners.
Sr. BC Championship Race
Tennille, Gr. 12, placed 85th in a field of 212 of BC’s very best.
Congratulations to Emily and Tennille, and all the Cross-Country runners for running tough races against dozens of competitors in any weather conditions. Thank you to their coaches Julia Sanderson, Meredith Seymour and Marianne Chang, and a big thank you to Camryn, Gr. 10, who attended the championships to cheer on the girls and help out Ms. Sanderson.
