On December 8th, the Grade 6s dressed their best and walked the red carpet to showcase their stop-motion films! Our Grade 6 students made stop-motion animation films to educate others about children’s rights. Their films show awareness of the privileges we hold, while highlighting the fact that not all children around the world have their rights respected. Students worked in groups of 2-3 to interview a Grade 1 student and then turned their ideas into stop-motion. On festival day, the students had their photos taken in front of a York House Internal Film Festival background and were interviewed by Grade 7 students about their films. Congratulations, Grade 6s!
