Senior Ultimate Wins Silver at Provincials

Both the Sr. and Jr. teams went 3-0, qualifying for the Provincial quarterfinals.

However, despite having two teams very capable of winning the Provincials, neither team managed to do it in the rain.

The Jr. team lost a close game to Stratford Hall in the semi-finals, 11-9. Stratford ended up winning the tournament with a much easier game against Point Grey.

Sr. Ultimate Team Wins Silver: the Sr. team made it to the finals against Sutherland. At 15-15, game to 16, the team had the disc, but were they were unable to complete a pass and ended up losing 16-15. Click here to read the Vancouver Courier article on this game and the Sr. Ultimate team.

Both teams had stellar seasons this year. Further congrats to Joanna on the Sr. Team for making the Canadian National Team. Good luck in Italy this summer for Worlds!
