Great results from this weekend…

On another wet miserable day, our ski team again swept the competition, this time led by Siobhan and Amelia. On the snowboard side, the girls had a good showing, especially Sylvia who finished 1st.

In basketball, the Junior Tigers did well in Kamloops losing a close game in the final.

The Senior Tigers beat BC’s #3 AAA team (SKSS) in the final 60-50, despite SKSS having a 6’4″ star! Laura was named MVP and Alisha an All-Star. The Tigers beat AA#6 Sahali and AA#4 NVSS enroute to the final.

Sr. Tigers Take Las Vegas Invitational Title

The Sr. Tigers Basketball Team travelled to Las Vegas, Nevada over the winter break to take part in the Las Vegas Invitational at Mountain View Christian Secondary. The Tigers started off with an easy win over River Valley of Arizona. In game two, the Tigers defeated the host school, Mountain View Christian. In the semi-final game, the Tigers played Chadwick, a prominant private school from the Los Angeles area. In a battle that game down to the final minutes, the Tigers held on for a 3pt win.  In the final, York House took on Gig Harbour of Washington. Again, the Tigers built a small lead and held off a late Gig Harbour run to win the 16 team tournament.

The Tigers were led by Alisha who was named tournament MVP.
