Senior Ensemble Night: Winter Concert

Our Senior musicians had a chance to showcase on the evening of Wednesday, November 20th. Of special note was the presentation of Blue and Green Music by the Senior Band. This was dreamed up by Mr. Robertson and Mr. Bach to integrate their subjects. What a great idea: In the early 20th century, American painter, Georgia O’Keefe set out to give visual representation to the rhythm and movement of music in an attempt to inspire her introduction to abstract art. Almost a century later, the young artists and musicians of York House embarked on a project to recreate O’Keefe’s painting through sight and sound. Bio 12 Pig Dissection

Watch the Bio 12 class make their way through the final lab of the year, a fetal pig dissection that sums up all the body systems they have learned.
