Our Grade 3-7s brought their House spirit to our Junior School Bench Ball Tournament. These House games were held during their PHE classes on January 27 and 28. The round-robin format, with 10-minute games, led to some seriously intense and epic battles between each house. Throughout the tournament, our gymnasium was full of smiles, shouts, laughs, and good music. Congrats to CYPRESS on winning the 2022 Benchball Tournament.
On the afternoon of Friday, November 26, students in Grades 3-7 participated in a photo scavenger hunt in their Houses. House leaders divided their houses into five smaller teams (eight girls per team). Each group walked around the school in their teams to take pictures on six themes they were given: Ballroom Dancing, Birthday Party, Superheroes, Supermodel, Winning the Lottery, and Winter Activities. The Grade 7s received training on how to take the photos and were the leads on this event. After the photos were taken, students returned to their House classrooms to play against the other Houses in a trivia Kahoot game while they wait for the photo slideshow and contest finale. Congratulations to Cypress for earning the most points from our judges and winning the event.
