Music Update

Whistler Music FestivalThe Grade 8/9 Concert Band has earned their 8th consecutive Gold in the Whistler Music Festival (April 28-30) . The Band received accolades from university professors from all across Canada and York House was commended for their consistent and exemplary work ethic and dedication to excellence in music education in Canada. Well done, girls!  You represented your peers and your teachers with much professionalism, dignity, and respect and we are all proud of your great accomplishment.

An Evening of Jazz

The YHS Vocal and Instrumental Jazz program had a gig at the Cellar Jazz Club on Wednesday, April 27. We had the whole club/restaurant to ourselves for the evening, which included dinner and great music by our talented girls!
