Alicia, Gr. 12, Represents BC at Royal Horse Show

Alicia, Grade 12, has just accomplished a major goal in her riding career. She was one of four selected to represent Team BC in the CET Medals (Canadian Equestrian Team) with her horse “CASH”, a Belgium Warm Blood.

The competition took her to Toronto to compete at the most prestigious horse show “The Royal” at the Royal Winter Fair.

After a four day journey their horses arrived in Toronto, where the team trained for one week prior to competition to prepare for the events. Alicia competed in the “Jump Canada Medal” on Tuesday, November 6th and finished in the top 8th for Canada.

On November 7th and 8th she competed in the CET Medal and finished 3rd in the gymnastics phase and 7th in the jumping phase, finishing with 6th overall for Canada. This whole experience was a major accomplishment for Alicia, and her family and friends couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome!
