The results are in from the Canadian Youth Chess Challenge (July 3-6, 2012) (Swiss 6/7).

Annika, Gr. 4, came 6th in her category of 14 (with 4 wins of 7 games).

Pepi, Gr. 6 came 4th in her category of 10 (with 4.5 wins of 7 games) & Most outstanding Player Award for Day 1.

and Alice, Gr. 10, came 2nd in her category of 4 (with 3.5 wins of 6 games).

The competitors are all the best selected youth players in Canada so these are amazing results for the girls and the school!

How these girls did it all – we don’t know. And when the tournament ended.. they all played a knock-out Bughouse Doubles chess game while waiting for the results !
