Tigers Basketball…some numbers to put this all in perspective:
1998: York House placed 8th but qualified for its second ever AA BC Basketball Championship tournament, the first since 1976. The first of 13 straight years we would qualify for this tournament. This is unprecedented in high school girls basketball at any level.
1999: York House Tigers win the AA BC Championship.
In the 12 years starting in 1999, the York House Tigers have:
- won 7 AA BC Championships
- won 3 AA silver medals
- won 1 bronze medal
- 11 Final 4 appearances
- 9 straight appearances in the final game
- won 5 straight titles from 2002-2006
