Cooking for Ronald McDonald House

Yesterday afternoon, a group of Grade 10’s (with help from Ms. Ruddy, Mr. Cropley and Ms. Black) prepared a lovely dinner for families staying at Ronald McDonald House, as part of their Family Dinner Program.

The group prepared a complete roast dinner in the cafeteria kitchen, and the Pastry Club worked together to make the dessert. Students then helped serve the dinner and clean up. This is a great help to families that stay at the house when one of their children receive medical care. We look forward to being a part of this program in the future. The girls got to brush up on their culinary skills and had fun while working as a team – all while supporting a worthy cause.
