It all started with a video contest and $1000 in prize money. Now our Spanish classes are building friendships and talking Taylor Swift with the girls of El Hogar Orphanage in Honduras.
You may recall that our Spanish 10 class won the Vista Higher Learning Video Contest about this time last year. As a group they decided to donate the prize money to El Hogar. Our Spanish students are continuing to build a relationship with the girls in Honduras, getting to know them a bit better as they practice their Spanish speaking skills.
