Bike-to-School Week was May 27 – May 31. Throughout the week students discussed bike safety, the environmental and health benefits, and the joy of riding a bike. Gr. 6 students were tasked with visiting a class each day to talk about the benefits of biking. At the end of the week, students were invited to come to school with their bike decorated. There was a parade of bikes on the field at lunch time. The brightly decorated bikes, from fresh flowers to streamers, certainly brightened up the campus.
