Last week, the teachers and students at the Little School held a special assembly in honour of Ms. Ruddy. Each class presented Ms. Ruddy with a song or a poem and gave her a special gift. Her final gift was a collection of Little School recipes, photos of the girls and the garden, and documentation of the girls’ memories of the garden and the Little School. We will miss Ms. Ruddy and wish her a happy retirement
This week, the SK girls had another art session with Artist-in-residence, Yared Nigussu. Next week, Yared will use the painted rocks to create an installation for the garden.
The JK girls had two clay sessions with Ailish’s Uncle Rob. Rob Stickney taught ceramics at St. George’s School for many years. He and the girls all had a lot of fun creating with clay this week. We appreciate him volunteering his time and expertise in our JK classroom!
