York House School was thrilled to welcome all our new parents to dinner on October 1st at the UBC Golf Club. Welcomed by our Head of School, Julie Rousseau and our Chair of the Board of Governors, Neil Menzies, it was a night of connection, laughter, and community.
Some of the evening’s highlights included a musical performance by Junior School Grade 7 student and harpist extraordinaire, Cyrenius and a rousing singalong of “Happy Birthday” to our Junior School Head Girl, Kate. We also must mention Farrell Eckman, President of the Parents’ Association for doing a fantastic job as MC.
Thank you to our Chair of the New Parents’ Committee, Zena Zuo and her team of amazing parent volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes making sure our new parents were wholeheartedly welcomed into our community.
