Fantastic showing by the York House troupe at the BC Provincial Thespian Festival on February 25th and 26th with an excellent rating for the troupe performance. Congratulations to four Yorkies who have qualified for the International Thespian Festival in Indiana in June:
- Kennedy and Sarah, Grade 11 (Acting – Duet Scenes)
- Amanda, Grade 11 (Musical Theatre – Solo)
- Yirui, Grade 11 (Acting – Contrasting Monologues)
Special congratulations to Amanda who was awarded a $1000 scholarship to the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts for the summer intensive, and to Amanda and Yirui who were selected to be Provincial Thespian Officers for the upcoming year.
