Our Yorkies have been delving into Robotics at all levels. In Grade 8, students have been busy discovering the effect of gears on velocity and torque in their challenge to build and race their SpeedBots. Grade 9 ADST students will soon begin to code robots to complete various challenges autonomously. The inaugural York House Robotics team has completed building their first robot and will be competing in the Provincial Qualifier next month. We have more testing and iterating to do, but are looking forward to our first competition!
