The JR. Ultimate teams played in the Eric Hamber Invitational this weekend (April 17-18, 2015). Our Grade 9-10 team went undefeated all weekend, and beat Sutherland in the final to take home the trophy.
The team was short of guys as only 7 of the 13 showed up; so the victory relied heavily on the girls.
This makes two tournament championships in as many weekends. The next tournament will be the Provincials in late May.

Spring is here, and that means it’s Ultimate season. Both the Sr. “A” and Jr. “A” teams had a successful weekend after 12 hours and six games of ultimate.
Sr. “A” came in second, losing to a strong team from Sutherland. The Jr. “A” team won their tournament, beating Prince of Wales in the finals in a close 10-8 game.
The Sr. “B” and Jr. “B” teams also played in the tournament. The Tigers faced a high level of competition as the tournament had all of the top teams from last year’s provincials.
