Senior Tigers Update: April 6, 2023

Spring Sports News
Tigers spring sports teams are up and running. The spring season is very busy with nearly half the Senior School student population involved in one of the following sports:

  • Track & Field
  • Soccer
  • Ultimate
  • Badminton
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Mountain Biking

Varsity Soccer started off the season with an exciting 1-0 win over Crofton House this week. The Badminton Team played matches against St. John’s School this week. Ultimate matches got started last Friday with the YHS-St. George’s Team tying West Point Grey (WPGA) 3-3. The Golf Team plays their first match April 6 while our Track Team gets ready for the first league meet on April 12. The Tennis Team is practicing in preparation for the ISAs at UBC on April 19 and the Mountain Biking Team has a few events and races planned on the North Shore later in April.

Thank you to all the students for their enthusiasm and commitment. A special thank you to our team of coaches and staff support that is helping make this all happen.
