The Junior Swim team consists of 44 swimmers in Grades 3-7 and their student coaches Nicole Morton, Danielle Robinson, Danielle Tognetti, Ashley Williams, and Janelle Yee.
Our students participated in the Saint’s Junior Invitational Swim Meet before the winter break and had some exciting results. Our Grade 3 team and our Grade 5 team both earned first place in their respective divisions. Alexandra Turvey set a new record in the 50 Meter Fly event and our Grade 3 4×25 Meter Relay team broke the record as well.

Recently, the team went to Victoria for the Glenlyon Norfolk Swim Jamboree. The students were an enthusiastic bunch keen to participate in various events. It was a great experience for our young swimmers. Please wish us luck as we compete in the ISEA Championships at UBC on February 18!
