Yorkies played really well at the BC Elementary Chess Championship at St. George’s, on Sunday, May 12.
There were 28 teams competing altogether and again we were the only All Girls Team! There were actually more girls than usual this year in co-ed teams: 9 from YHS and 13 from other schools.
Team A came 5th and won a trophy, Team B played excellent games but didn’t place.
The end of another great Chess season!
