On Wednesday, September 27th, Michele Riml, Jessie Richardson Award-winning Canadian playwright, came in to speak to the Grade 11 and 12s about turning their stories into art.
Michele has had 14 plays produced in nine countries around the world. Students in English 11 and 12 read her play, “Miss Teen,” and had a chance to listen to her speak about her creative process, as well as tools and techniques she uses as a writer to draw in and connect with her audience, and her use of humour to discuss difficult content.
