These past few months, Grades 1, 2 and 3 have embarked on full-day adventures to Cypress Mountain to discover and explore the beautiful wonders of winter. For many of the students, snow is still a rarity and everyone was thrilled to spend the day outside immersed in these new elements! Ms. Brennan and Ms. David guided the students into the forest along the Hollyburn Trail, teaching about animal tracks and tree wells along the way. The students had lots of opportunities to engage in creative play and embraced this new playground with enthusiasm and excitement! We are so proud of all the students for their resilience and being tough cookies as they persevered through some cold and snowy weather, refusing to let it slow them down or hinder their experience. Everyone had a blast and is looking forward to the upcoming Beach Days this spring!
