After two days of stiff competition, the York House swimmers finished in second place at Provincials! It was a whole team effort to achieve this result from 14 different swimmers (including the last minute addition of Fiona on the morning of day two!)
The team represented York House so well and exemplified the true nature of what being a team player is all about.
Thank you to our teacher superfans who came out to support us: Kara “I-Never-Stop-Smiling” McDonald, Jonathan “I’m-Here-To-Shake-My-Pom-Poms” Lee (along with a teething Hunter) and David “I’d-Fly-To-The-Ends-of-The-Earth-To-Support-A-Yorkie-Athlete” Prissinotti (as well as some amazing parents).

It’s a big job, lots of hours and early mornings on top if all the other things going on at school. They did an amazing job!
Thank you to those who came out to support the team. Everyone is busy and treasures their weekend but the girls sure appreciate seeing support as this team never gets to practice or compete at home at YHS.
This is 6 consecutive seasons placing top 2 in BC. We got beat by a a huge school and very strong team from Oak Bay in Victoria.
Next year we should be right back in the hunt.
